How to create a blog

today was an entertaining day where we learned about different factors related to blog writing at HITEC University. We discovered that we need to identify our passions and then match those passions to market needs while utilizing blogging as a medium. Also we learned about working on the rating of our blog. However the linking part of creating the blog practically was missing.

I personally think that blog writing is just like maintaining your own diary. How you want to use that diary depends entirely on you. you want to use it for professional or personal purposes will be your choice.

As far as creating your own blog is concerned. follow the guide given below.
You need not to spend money for the experiment purposes. You can have your blog free of cost. there are different hosting websites available where you can create your blog to have your online presence.

At this point in time keeping in view the student requirments i would focus on creating your blog on free hosting services like blogger.com (a free service by google) or wordpress.com (another free service by MSN).

1. Create your email account or user account on gmail, hotmail or live domain. If you want you can utilize your existing accounts for the purpose of having your own blog.

2.goto the Blogger.com home page and select the "Create Your Blog Now" button to begin the process to start your new Blogger.com blog.



3. If u already have a Google account skip this step otherwise you need to create one and this page will be displayed for you to create one.


4. if u already have an account with google simply skip the above step and sign in

5. Now is the real bit starting. You will have to name your blog. Since you are using the free services of google so your domain name will be like
"Domainname.blogspot.com"
if you want to remove the "blogspot" and want to have "domainname.com" you will have to get your domain registered first. since we are focusing on the free services so we will continue with that.

6. There are different options for templates available free of cost so you can choose the design template which best fits your needs and type of blog you want to create.


HOLA! you have created your blog. :)
